Cancellation Policy

By submitting a booking request and paying your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies listed below. TRAVEL STYLIST POLICY The Maintenance Junkie is a travel-only styling service. All appointments are performed at the client's selected location. To ensure a successful appointment, clients must provide a clean, safe, smoke-free environment, adequate lighting, access to a nearby electrical outlet, and a cleared workspace large enough for styling tools and equipment. Pets must be secured away from the work area and distractions should be kept to a minimum. If a suitable workspace is unavailable upon arrival, service may be refused and deposits will be forfeited. DEPOSITS & BOOKING A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read this policy in its entirety, understand all terms and conditions, agree to all policies outlined herein, and acknowledge that deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances. Failure to read the policies does not exempt any client from compliance. NO DEPOSIT = NO APPOINTMENT Appointments are not held without a deposit. Booking requests submitted without payment may be canceled without notice. HAIR PREPARATION REQUIREMENTS All clients must be appointment-ready before arrival. Natural hair must be freshly shampooed, thoroughly cleansed, fully detangled, completely dry unless otherwise instructed, and free of oils, grease, waxes, and heavy products. If hair is not properly prepared, additional preparation fees may apply, appointment times may increase, services may be shortened, or service may be refused at my discretion. No refunds will be issued. As a travel stylist, I cannot guarantee accommodation for delays caused by unprepared hair. PUNCTUALITY & ARRIVAL Your selected appointment time is the time I am scheduled to arrive. Please be ready upon arrival. Grace Period: • 15 minutes: Courtesy communication sent • 25 minutes: Waiting fees may apply • 30+ minutes: Appointment may require rescheduling Excessive delays may result in cancellation and deposit forfeiture. RESCHEDULING Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Requests made within 48 hours of the appointment may require a new deposit. Repeated rescheduling may result in booking restrictions.
